Eligible Health Care Expenses
In the past, The IRS has allowed over the counter (OTC) medicine to be reimbursed using your Flexible Spending Account (FSA). The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has changed the rules regarding the purchase of OTC.

Examples of eligible expenses include deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, dental, vision care, and prescription drugs.
The following are additional types of expenses that may be reimbursed from your FSA. This list is not comprehensive and is subject to change. If you have any questions regarding expense eligibility, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Please remember: Expenses (including over-the-counter medications) must be medically necessary to be eligible for reimbursement.
